After returning home from a residential placement facility, Jordan struggled to reconnect with school and stay focused on his goals.
Through The Best Me I Can Be Youth Reentry Program, Jordan was matched with a mentor who helped him stay motivated and focused on his education.
With the support of his case manager and academic tutoring services, Jordan successfully re-enrolled in school and completed credit recovery courses that put him back on track toward graduation.
Today, Jordan is working toward his high school diploma and exploring career training opportunities in the skilled trades.
Maria joined The Best Me I Can Be program after facing behavioral challenges and difficulties in school. Through mentoring, counseling, and leadership development activities, Maria began developing stronger decision-making skills and confidence.
With support from her mentor, Maria improved her school attendance and grades. She is now actively participating in youth leadership activities and mentoring younger students in her school.
